History

The history of Apparatenfabriek Aalsmeer (AFA) began over 100 years ago, when Cornelis Lanser decided to start his own forge, and C. Lanser began. The main activities of the forge were construction and repairing stoves, fireplaces and carriages.

With the emergence of the horticulture around Aalsmeer the demand for central heating systems increased. The now Fa. C. Lanser called company therefore began to increasingly specialize in the installation technology next to construction work. From about 1950 the business expanded with the production of pressure vessels and heat exchangers. Therefore, a separate department was established, which is Apparatenfabriek Aalsmeer

The combined company grew in such a way that in 1987 the company decided to split into two separate companies, which is Lanser Installation and Apparatenfabriek Aalsmeer (AFA).

AFA has grown into a multifaceted company specializing in designing and building custom equipment, to our own design or according to customer specifications. AFA has built a reputation as a reliable supplier of a wide range of solid and reliable equipment for both industrial, shipping and construction.

To meet the modern requirements AFA is certified to ISO 9001:2000 and PED (modules A, D1, H and H1). It continues to invest in modern technologies such as 3D drawing and processing of modern materials such as AISI 904L and duplex, but AFA does not forget her base her and provide equipment that is old-fashioned sound.

In order to continue to provide sound work in the future AFA has become a recognized training company for young people to learn to be professionals in welding, sheet metal work or bench work.
