AFA uses the ASME Code (ASME VIII Div.1) for years as one of the design codes for the performance of its manufacturing equipment. Any "third party" inspection is then usually performed by Lloyd's Register Eng. However, for equipment destined for North America or the petrochemical industry it is often necessary for a company to be U-stamp Certified.
Given the increasing demand for equipment with U-stamp, AFA is working to get certified as U-stamp holder. We will keep you informed.
